Screenprint on 410 gsm Somerset Tub paper.- This intricately detailed silkscreen print of his 1996 iconic sculpture of supermodel Kate Moss depicts her unearthly beauty, but shows her limbs contorted in an extreme yoga pose, a reflection on the distortions of global media.Taking a three-dimensional image of the sculpture, and working directly with the artist, the print is hand finished in a choice of gold and silver leaf. 12 colors including a silk-screen glaze were used to produce the screenprinted image of the Sphinx.

Wer sind die Young British Artists - YBA

Young British Artists (YBAs), auch bekannt als Britart oder Brit artists, bezieht sich auf eine Gruppe von Künstlern, die 1988 gemeinsam in London auszustellen begannen. Die meisten von ihnen schlossen Ende der 1980er Jahre ihr Studium im Fachbereich Bildende Kunst am Goldsmiths College ab. Die YBAs sind bekannt für ihren wilden Lebensstil, die Verwendung unkonventioneller Materialien und eine Kombination aus unternehmerischer und oppositioneller Haltung. Sie dominierten die britische Kunstszene in den 1990er Jahren und erhielten große mediale Aufmerksamkeit. Viele dieser Künstler wurden anfangs von Charles Saatchi unterstützt und gesammelt, einer Schlüsselfigur in ihrem Aufstieg.
