Qu'est-ce que l'expressionnisme abstrait?
L'Expressionnisme Abstrait est un mouvement artistique qui a émergé aux États-Unis dans les années 1940 et 1950. Caractérisé par de grandes toiles abstraites, ce mouvement mettait l'accent sur des coups de pinceau spontanés et expressifs ainsi que sur l'utilisation de la couleur et de la forme pour exprimer des émotions plutôt que pour représenter la réalité. Des artistes comme Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko et Willem de Kooning sont des figures clés de ce mouvement. L'Expressionnisme Abstrait a marqué un tournant dans le monde de l'art, faisant de New York un centre de la scène artistique internationale.
