Wat is Comic Strip kunst?

Stripkunst verwijst naar kunstwerken die gebruik maken van de onderwerpen en commerciële druktechnieken die in strips worden aangetroffen. In de jaren 1960 begon een groep kunstenaars met het maken van schilderijen waarin Ben-Day-stippen werden verwerkt—een techniek die vaak wordt gebruikt in strips en reclame—om zeer grafische ontwerpen in heldere kleuren te creëren met behulp van traditionele kunstmedia.
