Felipe Pantone Optichromie 143 diptych lithograph featuring dynamic geometric patterns, spirals, and vivid colors on a monochrome backdrop.

// Optichromie 143 (diptych) by Felipe Pantone, produced in 2023, is a striking limited edition lithograph that fuses elements of Op Art, glitch aesthetics, and vibrant chromatic effects. This diptych, measuring 70 x 100 cm per panel, features an intricate interplay of geometric patterns, gradients, and vivid color spectrums against a monochromatic backdrop. The piece showcases dynamic movements through its hypnotic use of spirals, lines, and pixelated textures, creating a sense of visual distortion and digital interference. Pantone’s contemporary approach merges analog and digital techniques, resulting in an immersive and futuristic visual experience.

What is Street art?

Street Art is artwork created and executed in public spaces, outside of traditional art venues. It gained popularity during the 1980s graffiti art boom and has since evolved into various forms and styles. Common forms of Street Art include pop-up art, sticker art, stencil graffiti, and street installations or sculptures. Terms like guerrilla art, neo-graffiti, post-graffiti, and urban art are often used interchangeably to describe this genre, which challenges conventional ideas about where and how art should be displayed.
