This work features Basquiat’s characteristic chaotic arrangement of symbols, text, and figures, layered with energetic lines and bold colors. Central to the composition is a fragmented narrative exploring themes of consumerism, identity, and power, with recurring motifs like crowns, text blocks, and abstract faces. Measuring 22 x 30 inches, the screenprint is part of a limited edition of 50, signed and dated on the verso by Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, the administrators of the artist's estate. This piece embodies Basquiat’s raw, expressive style and his ability to challenge societal norms through his art.

What is Street art?
Street Art is artwork created and executed in public spaces, outside of traditional art venues. It gained popularity during the 1980s graffiti art boom and has since evolved into various forms and styles. Common forms of Street Art include pop-up art, sticker art, stencil graffiti, and street installations or sculptures. Terms like guerrilla art, neo-graffiti, post-graffiti, and urban art are often used interchangeably to describe this genre, which challenges conventional ideas about where and how art should be displayed.
