LCD animation presented as a continuous computer animation on a 2 minute and 51 second loop, with memory card supplied, programmed and fitted in LCD screen, contained in a custom made, silver powder-coated metal surround, 27.6 x 35.4 x 4.5 cm (10 7/8 x 13 7/8 x 1 3/4 in.) signed in black ink and numbered edition of 200 (printed) on a label affixed to the reverse (there were also 20 artist's proofs) -- Julian Opie's "View From My Kitchen Window," created in 2008, is a digital art piece that offers a contemporary perspective on the mundane. The digital medium allows Opie to create a sense of depth and perspective, bringing the viewer into his visual narrative.
