Offset lithography - Deluxe book edition - - Please note that for delivery of this artwork inside the EU, there is an additional 19% VAT // Tallulah Tucher by Mel Ramos, created in 2015, is an offset lithograph that merges pop art with playful sensuality. The artwork features a nude woman embracing a large Tucher beer bottle, characteristic of Ramos’s style that combines commercial imagery with pin-up aesthetics. The woman’s confident and flirtatious expression contrasts with the objectification inherent in the presentation, provoking commentary on consumer culture and the female form in advertising. This piece is part of a deluxe book edition, reflecting the artist's fascination with blending fine art and mass-produced iconography. It is available as a limited edition print with 499 copies plus 50 artist proofs.

What is pop-art?
Pop Art is an art movement that began in Britain in 1955 and in the late 1950s in the U.S. It challenged traditional fine arts by incorporating imagery from popular culture, such as news, advertising, and comic books. Pop Art often isolates and recontextualizes materials, combining them with unrelated elements. The movement is more about the attitudes and ideas that inspired it than the specific art itself. Pop Art is seen as a reaction against the dominant ideas of Abstract Expressionism, bringing everyday consumer culture into the realm of fine art.
