Qu'est-ce que le lettrisme?

Le lettrisme est une forme d'art qui utilise des lettres, des mots et des symboles pour créer des œuvres d'art. Le mouvement a été fondé à Paris dans les années 1940 et a ensuite gagné en popularité dans les années 1950 en Amérique. Lettrisme est l'orthographe française du nom du mouvement, dérivé du mot français pour lettre.

Kitsch

Kitsch est un terme utilisé pour décrire des œuvres d'art et des objets bon marché, commerciaux, sentimentaux ou vulgaires, souvent associés à la culture populaire. Le mot est emprunté à l'allemand, où il signifie à l'origine déchet. Depuis les années 1920, le kitsch est utilisé pour désigner l'opposé de l'art de qualité, impliquant souvent que l'œuvre manque de sophistication ou de valeur artistique.

Argile

Argile est un matériau naturel formé lorsque les roches se décomposent avec le temps en raison des intempéries. L'eau transporte les fines particules de terre, qui s'accumulent sous forme de boue molle et collante. Cette boue est collectée, nettoyée et raffinée en éliminant les impuretés telles que les pierres et en ajoutant du sable pour améliorer sa texture, donnant ainsi de l'argile utilisable.
