The British born artist Cornelia Parker is well known for her workings with sculpture and installation but is also know to partake in drawing alongside photography and film.
The artists' installations mainly consist of mutilated found objects and images, and this can be showcased in one of her well-known pieces "Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View (1991)" this is a large-scale installation where Cordelia had a shed garden blown up by the Army and hung the remenants to give off the illusion as if suspending the explosion frozen in time. In the center was a light that cast the shadows of the wood on the room's walls. She followed this up in 1997 with A Colder Darker Matter; this consisted of a church's remnants.
In 2016, Cordelia Parker went on to win an Apollo award for Artist of the Year.
