- Robin Winters
Robin Winters is a conceptual artist with work spanning across a vast range of media, some of which include poetry; painting, sculpture (bronze and ceramic), installation art and photography. Winters is known for his practice in Relational Aesthetics and has incorporated such devices as blind dates, double dates and fortune telling into his artistic outputs – W.B Bearman Bags a Job was one of his pieces in which he would invite his audience into a box he had made, the audience and himself separated by a one-way mirror; he would then speak with the audience, play music and tell them their fortune. There are a few recurring themes throughout all of Winters’ work, these include faces, boats, cars and the image of the fool. Asides from his own artistic endeavours, Winters is a teacher of art and currently teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
