I am not a performer but occasionally I deliberately work in a public context. Some sculptures need the movement of people around them to work.

Andy Goldsworthy is a sculptor and environmentalist whose work often makes use of natural landscapes and both rural and urban settings – a particular branch of the arts known as ‘lland art.’ Born in Britain, and having lived in various different rural settings across Britain, Goldsworthy has created and exhibited a lot of his work at various points around the country, notably at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Goldsworthy produced a piece inspired by San Francisco earthquakes – the piece featured a giant crack in a pavement that branched off into smaller cracks, made by a hammer and thus spontaneous and original.
