Peter Nagy

Peter Nagy (b. 1959 USA) is an American contemporary artist and curator known for his influential role in the East Village art scene of the 1980s and his work that explores the intersections of art, commerce, and popular culture. Nagy first gained recognition as the founder of Gallery Nature Morte in New York City, where he showcased cutting-edge works by emerging artists who challenged traditional boundaries between high and low culture.
