Subodh Gupta

Subodh Gupta (b. 1964 India) is an internationally acclaimed Indian contemporary artist known for his monumental sculptures, installations, and mixed-media works that explore themes of globalization, consumerism, and the cultural transformation of India. Gupta often uses everyday objects like stainless steel utensils, tiffin boxes, and kitchenware, which are deeply embedded in Indian domestic life, to create large-scale installations that reflect on the changing landscape of Indian society.
