Happening

What is Happening?

A Happening is a term used to describe artistic and theatrical events held by artists in the 1950s and 60s. These events were typically staged in gallery installations or planned environments and often involved audience participation, along with elements like lighting, sounds, and slide projections. Happenings were a precursor to performance art, which later included the active participation of the artists themselves.

Wire

Wire is a single strand or rod of flexible metal. It has been used since ancient times to make chains and jewelry decorations. Wire comes in various thicknesses and can be bent, braided, and cut using wire tools to create sculptures, assemblages, and mobiles. Different metals, such as copper, aluminum, and steel, are commonly used for wire art.

Collage

Collage is a production art technique commonly used in visual arts where a new artwork is created by assembling various materials. These materials can include ribbons, newspaper and magazine clippings, pieces of handmade or colored paper, photographs, text fragments, and other objects, all combined to form a cohesive whole.

Lambda print

A Lambda print is produced using a Lambda laser printer, a technology developed by the Durst company. The Durst Lambda was one of the first printers to use digital laser technology to create archival-quality prints. This process, also known as a Lambda c-type print, involves exposing photographic paper to laser light, resulting in high-quality, long-lasting images.
