Corrección by Liliana Porter, created in 2018, is a minimalist etching that features a delicate, hand-drawn flower at the center of a largely blank page. The artwork’s simplicity draws attention to the small, almost childlike depiction of the flower, rendered in blue and red with fine lines and a playful quality. This minimal approach highlights the artist's skill in creating depth and narrative with minimal elements, inviting viewers to focus on the tiny details and the title’s implication of “correction.” Known for her exploration of everyday objects and their symbolic weight, Porter’s Corrección can be seen as a contemplation on fragility, imperfection, and the beauty found in simplicity.
